Arrival of new students!
DBS delighted to finally welcome the initial cohort of twenty students to
the Global MBA course. Prof. Hasegawa, Dean of the Global MBA course,
formally greeted the new students with a welcome address and launched a
series of academic and administrative orientation events held over a
three-day period. Later on day one Global MBA students joined other
international students at a University Welcome Ceremony attended by the
University's President and Chancellor among other important guests before
enjoying a Welcome Reception hosted by the Business School in the delightful
surroundings of Amherst House on the University campus.
Our new cohort took the opportunity to introduce themselves to current
students and alumni of the Japanese course, faculty, corporate partners and
other important guests associated with the Global MBA. All were greatly
impressed and encouraged by the enthusiasm and determination shown by the
new students who expressed their eagerness to get to work We wish our new
students every success as they embark on this journey of knowledge,
understanding and personal development on the Global MBA.
